I attended the Christmas Clinic and also the 3 day clinic in June. The entire staff at martha Josey Ranch are wonderful and very helpful, with lots of patience. My one biggest memory will be when Martha Josey invited Maegen, Morgan, and myself to come into her home, played a great trick on us but it was all worth it. Thank you for being a great role model and person.
Love,

Hello Mrs. Martha & R. E.,
I always remember to stay positive and that's the best stuff you guys taught my family and I'm real proud of myself for having the positive mental belief within myself! It's funny because when I had my first Uni exams, our classes were concentrated on studying and preparing for the exams. I don't get stressed much about exams or tests or anything and my classmates would always ask me "Why are you smiling, why aren't you stressed and stuff? And I'd say to my classmates "just remember to stay positive and don't psych yourself out because it's all mental, believe in yourself and you'll do the best you can do ...etc." and they all look at me and say I should be a motivational speaker and I just think to myself - well I've got great parents who have taught me well, and some of their teaches included two awesome people called Martha and R. E. Josey so that's what I put it down to. And it's great that I can apply that positivity to every aspect in my life - not just rodeo - and also give it to other people.
God Bless,
Lacey-Jae

R. E. & Martha,
Thank you for a wonderful Christmas Clinic. My granddaughter, Kaitlyn Woodman loved it and cannot wait till the week long clinic. She and Muffin had their best time ever at the Piney Woods Rodeo in Lufkin this past weekend, they ran a 18.781 on Sunday you would have thought she ran a 15 by the smile on her face she said Nana we finally got out of the 20s. Be sure and let Ty know because next to you Martha he is her hero. All of you have helped Kaitlyn so much and we can not praise you enough.
Thanks again, One Proud Nana

Hello Mrs. Martha,
My family and I attended your Bowling Green Clinic this past weekend. Just wanted to write to tell you, how much we enjoyed the experience. My 12 year old son, Austin, learned a lot and I hope he will apply his training to the upcoming season. Just thought I would tell you that you couldn't have picked a better bunch of guys to teach the clinic. Ty, Chris and Gary were polite, patient, funny, and intelligent. You should be proud of Team Josey.
WE HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL AGAIN!

Nov. 25, 2008 -Fall Clinic on Josey Ranch
Hello Mrs. Martha,
My name is Katie Lindamood and myself and 2 grand kids, Laura and Sarah were at your fall clinic. I took my 3 year old cream colt and had a blast. You and your team were super helpful and very nice. With your help my colt did amazing. I think he wants to come back, I know I do! After the last run Laura placed in the 2D and Sarah didn't place, but learned a lot. I heard her call her Dad and tell him how much she had learned and how much fun it was. That is a lot coming from a teenager, as sometimes they won't listen to anyone. Sorry that I missed your church service, I was tending to an upset stomach. I asked if you still gave out the little crosses, and was told yes. I should have just come and sat by the door. I know it was a wonderful service. Blue, my colt, and myself are going to they to come back next year. I can not tell you how much I was helped by both you and the team.
Thanks again,
Katie Lindamood

Hey Chris, Ty and Gary!!!!!!
I would like to thank ya'll for all your efforts. Ya'll have a wonderful program. I noticed a big improvement in my colt and I couldn't have done it without your help. The very next day after we got home I tried the things you taught me at the clinic and I was still amazed at the results. I definitely plan on coming back again in March of 2009. Dear Josey Clinic Instructors (Ty, Chris and Gary), R. E. Josey,
My daughter, Josie McElroy, attended your clinic this past weekend in Wilmington, Ohio. I wanted you all to know how much we enjoyed and learned at the clinic this weekend. Ty, Chris and Gary..... You are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I believe EVERYONE that attended the clinic improved so much from Friday night to Saturday. I didn't get to see all of the groups, but my daughter's group improved so much, it was just amazing. I was so excited to see all of the participants on Sunday make their finial run because I knew just how much my own daughter improved.
You guys took the time to work with each individual and horse that you forgot you were there with so many other people. Josey ran a 17.4 on Friday and on Sunday ran a 16.7. She would have been faster but her horse stumbled and was sore from pulling a muscle in the deep ground. More than her time, what I saw her do with her riding, her hands was worth every penny we spent this past weekend.
She also met some friends I know she'll keep in touch with. She ended up winning the 2nd Division, getting a great halter and supplements. She was very excited.
We are DEFINATLY planning on attending the Reunion Roundup and the Josey Jr. World Show. I just wanted to express my thanks and wanted Martha and R. E. to know what wonderful instructors they have representing them.
Thanks again and we will see you in May at the Ranch.
Sincerely,
Christy and Kenny McElroy
I wanted to thank Carla, Clay and Gary for coming to Kingman, KS Clinic. I came from Lincoln, NE and drove almost 6 hours to get there and it was so worth it. It was my first clinic for barrel racing and it was really nice to refresh my horse on the basics.
Also I really liked how positive everyone stayed through the weekend. My horse is very well trained and they accommodated to me by answering my questions and showing me some more advanced techniques. On the final run I ran to a second place finish in the 1D just missing out on winning my first belt buckle. I can't wait to run at the 2009 Josey Round Up Reunion and will keep working hard everyday. I have a futurity enrolled three year old I Plan to take to a clinic next summer if there's one close to Lincoln. Once again I had a great time there and God Bless! See ya in May! :)
Thank you,
Michelle Deck
PS - I've been carrying my cross in my pocket ever since I received it. Thanks for giving me it for daily inspiration!
