Shelia Smith and I recently attended the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame in Fort Worth, Texas. It was a great honor and privilege for me to be able to visit such a wonderful place and to see Martha's pictures up on the wall with so many talented and famous cowgirls throughout history. Everyone at the museum asked about her and wanted to know how she was doing. When we told them she was back on the road they just couldn't believe it! One person made the comment that Martha is, "One tough lady and an inspiration to people of all ages. A true cowgirl"

We also visited the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame at the Fort Worth Stockyards. Martha and R.E. were inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1998.
