Hello from the Josey Ranch!
We always have something exciting going on at the Ranch: Barrel Racing or Calf Roping Clinics, the famous World Champion Jr. Barrel Race or our fun filled Reunion Round-Up for former students. We have a large selection of quality horses, saddles and equipment for sale year-round.
Make plans to attend one of our clinics or week long schools. Make new friends and benefit from the experience we've gained through years of competition.

Effective Immediately (8/20/07): Each student is allowed to bring ONE HORSE ONLY for all clinics with the exception of the All-Around School and Camp. If you bring another horse, you will be charged $75 for an additional stall and you will not be allowed to ride the second horse during the clinic.
Individuals of all age, from beginners to advanced, on all types of horses, are welcome to enroll. Children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by parents or guardian.
VISTORS: Parents and family are always welcome at the Josey Ranch.
MEALS: The concession stand will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. daily
DRESS ATTIRE: Blue jeans, hats, and boots are standard wear at the Josey Ranch. One dress outfit of western shirt and pants is recommended. Other items to bring; light jacket or sweater, comfortable boots and raincoat. (Western attire is recommended for the final run and award photos.)
PHOTOGRAPHS & VIDEOS: Action shots and video film will be taken of horses and riders during the ranch clinics and schools. Head and shoulder shots will be taken of students and horses during the 7 Day School. Photographs will be taken by Stefanie Yoder (903)663-3942.Call Mark Burt wtih "Mark's Video Production" at (817)599-6275 about purchasing your tape of the fast runs from the clinic. There is no obligation to purchase.
HORSE HEALTH PAPERS: The State of Texas requires that out-of-state horses have a 45 -day health certificate. All horses, either out-of-state or in-state, must have a 12-month negative Coggins certificate. You should consult your vet early, as it takes about ten days to recieve Coggins test results. Please present these papers when you check in at the Ranch. It is advisable to have your horse in good physical condition prior to the clinic or school. For the protection of your horse, we also suggest that all vaccinations be current.

FEED: Students must bring their own feed, hay and other equipment needed for the horse.
TACK: Please bring saddle, blankets, bridle, hay bag, one (1) feed bucket, one (1) water bucket, small plastic buckets, and any other equipment needed for horse care.
REFUNDS: IMPORTANT! Deposits will be refunded if requests are in writing and postmarked NO LATER THAN TWENTY-ONE DAYS PRIOR TO THE START OF THE CLINIC.
SPECIAL NOTES:
* For Safety Purposes, Dogs are to be on leshes or inside your trailers.
* Four Wheelers need to be kept at a slow speed (approx. 10mph) while on Josey Ranch.
